Deep within the forest, a young turtle starts climbing a tree. After hours of effort he reaches the top, jumps into the air waving his front legs, and crashes to the ground.

A few minutes later, the stunned tutle recovers and slowly begins climbing the tree again. Once at the top, he again jumps and, with legs flailing, falls to the ground.

The young turtle tries again while a couple of birds sitting on a branch watch his sad efforts.

Finally, as the sun is starting to set, the female bird turns to her mate.

"Dear," she chirps, "don't you think it's time we tell him he's adopted?"
