Paul Reed Smith JH Johnny Hiland Signature Model Electric - Johnny Hiland has some of the fastest fingers and is perhaps the most versatile guitar player in the business. This is a man who can play in virtually any genre from country and jazz to rock and metal. No matter what type of music he is playing, he's sure to both impress and inspire.

As a guitarist of such versatility, Johnny needed a guitar that could literally do it all. When he met with Paul Reed Smith, they collaborated on a guitar that could play anything from jazz to metal and everything in between. The result of that collaboration is the PRS Johnny Hiland Signature Model.

The covered JH Treble and Bass pickups on the JH Signature Model electric offer push/pull tone control to provide great tone options:

PUSH-PULL DOWN POSITIONS

  • Position 1: Treble Humbucker
  • Position 2: Treble Humbucker with the Bass Single Coil
  • Position 3: Bass Single Coil only

    PUSH-PULL UP POSITIONS

  • Position 1: Treble Humbucker
  • Position 2: Both Humbuckers
  • Position 3: Bass Humbucker

    The carved maple top, mahogany back, and curly maple neck with maple fretboard all contribute to balanced tone and great playing comfort. Easily access to two full octaves per string with the 25" scale, 24 frets, and deep double cutaway. And check out the recessed truss rod cover that allows "Tele"-style string bends by pressing down on the string above the nut!
