PRS Standard 24 Electric
Pearl and abalone moon inlays set off the dual-octave, 10" radius rosewood fretboard on a wide-thin set mahogany neck. Elegant curves provide free high-fret access and ultimate comfort on the carved mahogany body. The Standard 24 Guitar has a chrome PRS tremolo and 14:1 low-mass locking tuners on the matching headstock that add visual snap and provide firm tuning. And you won't believe the sweet fat tone that comes from the HFS bridge humbucker and Vintage Bass neck humbucker with coil-tapping 5-way rotary selector.

Historical notes:
The Paul Reed Smith Standard model debuted in 1987. The original Standard was renamed to the Standard 24, so as not to cause confusion with the 22-fret version (Standard 22) introduced om 1994.
Due to the tight manufacturing tolerances employed by PRS, there is basically no cost difference between the (set neck) Standard or the (bolt-on) CE Mahogany model. The main difference is a sonic one: the mahogany has an excellent midrange presence, while the CE, with its bolt-on neck, has a slightly "snappier" sound.
The Standard gloss-finish models were discontinued in 2008. List price in the 2007 catalog for the Standard 24 or Standard 22 gloss finish models was $3000. Options included bird inlays (add $360) and gold hardware ($440).
The Paul Reed Smith Mira, Starla, and Custom models are equivalent set neck current PRS instruments.
