The Regenerator uses four knobs that offer the following controls:
![]() An optional expression pedal can be connected for control of modulation speed in real time for live performance or recording. The Regenerator is equipped with a passive bypass foot switch, preferred by many purists since it eliminates any trace of the effect when the unit is clicked out of the circuit. The RG-1 is powered by a singe 9 volt battery or an optional AC adapter via the external 9 volt DC input jack and status LED. Everything is housed in a metal case that is tough enough for travel.
