Marshall Reflector RF-1 Digital Reverb

"...[A]n excellent choice of atmospheric options that really work..."

(Guitar Buyer magazine)

The Marshall Reflector RF-1 Digital Reverb pedal gives access to a half-dozen effects worthy of the Marshall name ranging from spacious halls to studio plates, classic spring reverbs, and haunting reverse reverb textures.

An optional expression pedal can be connected via the input for control over reverb decay time during live performance.

The Reflector uses four knobs that offer the following controls:

  • Reverb Mode - Hall, Plate, Room, Spring 1, Spring 2 and Reverse
  • Reverb Time
  • Damping (amount of high frequencies reflected back with the reverb)
  • Level (amount of reverb signal to mix with the normal instrument sound)

An especially cool "spill-over" feature involves Output 2 in mono mode. When the reverb effect is switched off, the "tail" of the reverb continues to sound until it has died out completely. This produces a studio caliber effect. If the Reflector is operated in stereo mode (Inputs 1 & 2 used with Outputs 1 & 2), the spill-over feature is disabled.

The Reflector is equipped with a passive bypass foot switch, preferred by many purists since it eliminates any trace of the effect when the unit is clicked out of the circuit. The RF-1 is powered by a singe 9 volt battery, or an optional AC adapter via the external 9 volt DC input jack and status LED.
