The Marshall EH-1 Echohead Digital Delay produces everything from crystal-clear repeats to classic analog echoes to psychedelic reverse and modulation delays. An optional momentary footswitch may be connected for realtime tap tempo adjustments. The Echohead uses four knobs to provide the following controls:
![]() The pedal features a passive bypass foot switch, preferred by many purists since it eliminates any trace of the effect when the unit is clicked out of the circuit. This is an especially important consideration when using an overdrive pedal: when you click the pedal off, you want no residual buzz in the signal. The EH-1 is powered by a 9 volt battery, and also features an external 9 volt DC input jack and status LED. Stereo outputs are included, so you can use the Echohead for recording or through a stereo PA board. You can also use the EH-1 in mono mode, such as with a guitar amp.
