Marshall Haze Series valve amps: Haze15 head and Haze40 combo Tube preamp, power amp, and a price well under $1K. These amps are setting the music world on its ear!

The Marshall Haze Series provide pure valve, studio quality tone in a package that's portable enough to use for club dates and recording. Imagine being able to take your Marshall amp with you in your eco-friendly automobile!

The appropriately named Haze 15 head delivers 15 watts of pure Marshall tube tone. It looks great when matched with a pair of the new MHZ112A and MHZ112B 12" speaker cabinets for a visually appealing, scaled down "mini stack".

Its more powerful sibling, the Haze 40 combo amp, features top mounted controls for a look that's reminiscent of the Marshall Bluesbreaker models. Scroll down to see a comparison chart that details the feature differences between the models.

        Haze 40
This combo model features two footswitchable channels, Normal and Overdrive, each with independent Boost switches. Boost is a great way to beef up single-coil pickups for inspired blues riffing, and to bring extra gain to the Overdrive channel. Controls are Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence to provide custom tone shaping. The Line Out with loudspeaker emulation feature, plus the switchable external effects loop, allows you to link any effects pedals and rack units to the amp.

Haze 15
With its 3 ECC83 and 2 6V6 power amp valves, the Haze 15 is just the ticket for recording, at-home practice, and backstage tuneup sessions. The Haze15 uses the traditional Marshall EQ section with Bass, Middle and Treble controls. A 2 channel amp, the Normal and Overdrive channels provide both pristine cleans and silky distortions with everything in between. Turning up the Normal channel volume goes from clear to a natural, valve-driven sound that can be dynamically controlled with your guitar's volume control. Engage the Bright function for extra parkle and bite.

Selecting the Overdrive channel lets the amp really begin to roar for a no-nonsense Marshall sound. At lower volumes, this channel is perfect for blues riffs and rhythm playing. Crank it up and get that classic Marshall power and distortion at a volume that won't make your ears bleed!

FX Included
Paired with the beautiful analogue tone, each Haze amp includes studio quality effects. Use the custom-voiced and widely adjustable Echo, Vibe, and Chorus effects to create your signature tone. Each effect is governed by the Effect Depth and Adjust controls to dial-in the amount of effect in use and control the Echo tempo and Vibe/Chorus modulation rates respectively. Also included is a spring-emulated Reverb.

All effect settings are automatically stored with the current channel (and Overdrive Boost on the Haze40), and are recalled when you switch back to that channel. Very handy indeed! Or if you don't use effects with your playing, you'll be pleased to learn that the Effects section features true bypass, which completely removes the efffects circuitry and preserves that treasured, all-valve signal path.
