Crafted to look like a "plexi" era Marshall, the Class5 combo is an all-tube, no-frills tone monster. And in a global economy where equipment is outsourced to offshore contractors, the Class5 is still made in the UK!

Designed in the legendary Bluesbreaker style, the Marshall Class 5 series gets back to basics with a top-loaded panel of Volume, Treble, Middle, and Bass controls. This simple feature set is the Marshall Class 5 tube amp's secret weapon. What you get in return is authentic Class A tone, rich in smooth harmonic distortion.

The Class5 amplifier head looks like a slightly scaled down Marshall head. Plug it into any 16 ohm speaker cabinet, and you'll experience the famous Marshall "crunch" -- but at a lower volume level that allows you to turn it up to "10" and get the sound of a $3,000 full stack and still have money to buy a new Gibson or PRS guitar!

An all-valve signal path provides the tone that Marshall is famous for. Sparking cleans, full-bodied Marshall crunch, and that glorious lead tone you've come to expect are all part of the Class5's sonic palette. And because it's an analog amp, the Class5 responds instantly to your guitar's volume control, giving dynamic control back to the guitarist.

The combo rear panel consists of a selection switch for the headphone jack, which when activated bypasses the internal speaker. On the rear is an extension speaker 16-Ohm out, so you can run your Marshall Class 5 tube amp into a 4 x 12" cabinet.

The Class5 series are recommended for recording studios, bedroom and dorm room practice, backstage tune-ups, small clubs (especially when plugged into the external Marshall C110 speaker cabinet), churches, larger stages (when mic'ed through a PA system).
