The photo above shows the gorgeous Mitsubishi 3000GT SL ye webmaster drove in his days with The Blame. The half stack is of three Marshalls he used. Pictured is a JCM 800 model 2203 100 watt Super Lead head atop a 1960A angled cabinet.

The only modification was to convert the power section to Groove Tube™ EL34 (from the original 6550) and add a re-issue replacement handle. The amp is very loud and crunchy. When run dry and mixed with a wet Mark III JCM 900 via a splitter, the combined sound is amazing. I love these amps! The Flying V is a 1994 Custom Shop in translucent purple. - Jeff Seippel, 3/11/99

The 50 watt head is paired with a full-sized 4x10 bottom. Notice the checkerboard grille, which denotes a pre-series 800 vintage. The large "M" logo was used on Marshalls at one time, and are described in Michael Doyle's The History of Marshall book.
