Brett's music gear sell-out
2003 Paul Reed Smith McCarty Hollowbody 1
Dead mint beauty weighs under 6 lbs! Fantastic action, great sound and so comfortable that you could easily wear it on a strap all night long without ever changing guitars. Carved maple top with carved mahogany back and thin sides (1 3/4" depth at rim, 3" depth at bridge). 22-fret wide-fat mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, PRS stop tail bridge, and 3-way toggle pickup selector. PRS Phase 2 locking tuners, too.
Flamed maple edging shows nice figuring. This beauty is currently outfitted with Bareknuckle Riffraff pickups. These are based on the holy grail of humbuckers, the original Gibson PAF (Patent Applied For) model. They have a focused bass response with a hint of extra midrange presence.
I really like the look of a gloss black guitar. When itís a PRS and plays and sounds as nice as this one, itís just icing on the cake. Comes with PRS archtop case, paperwork, hang tag, and yes, the original set of PRS (McCarty) Archtop pickups are in the case, should you decide to switch back to the stock sound.
$2075 shipped in the lower 48. Sorry, but I don't ship out of the USA.
